The Ridgewood Art Institute in New Jersey holds its 47th Annual Open Juried Show from February 14 to March 14, 2027, with more than $10,000 in cash and merchandise awards including a $2,000 grand prize. It is open to traditional realism in two-dimensional media only, up to 44 inches on the longest side including the frame, completed within the last three years and never shown at a previous RAI juried show. Artists may enter two works, though only one painting is accepted. Entries are made online through ShowSubmit by November 30, with acceptance notices on January 8. Out-of-town work is received January 29 to February 4, and the work must be framed, wired and, for works on paper, under glass or Plexiglas.
Eligibility
Artists 18 and older. Traditional realism only and two-dimensional work only; no sculpture, photography, digital art, collage or crafts. Work must be the artist's own concept and execution, not made in a class and not AI-generated.
