About
Roblar Winery and Farm, with its gallery Indah Gallery, hosts three visual artists for a three-week residency (March 1–22, 2027) on its 40-acre vineyard and organic farm in California's Santa Ynez Valley. Each artist gets a private bedroom and bathroom in a shared casita and about 300 sq ft of a 900 sq ft shared studio in the gallery's converted barn, with easels, worktables and 24-hour access. Optional sessions include a farm walk, a winery tour, a crit with residency director Max Gleason, local studio visits and the Chumash Museum. The residency ends with an opening reception of the residents' work at Indah Gallery, where work can be sold.
Eligibility
Visual artists at any career stage based outside Santa Barbara County. Three artists are selected; those working large or in three dimensions should keep the shared studio's limits in mind.
