SELECTS 2027 Juried Exhibition
First Street Gallery
You should apply if you're a U.S.-based artist, 18 or older, making 2D work or sculpture.
About
First Street Gallery, an artist-run gallery in Chelsea, is taking entries for SELECTS 2027, a juried show of small bodies of work on view January 7 to 30, 2027, with a reception on January 7. Each selected artist gets roughly 10 by 10 feet of wall space, or the equivalent floor space for free-standing sculpture, to show work built around a current or longstanding interest. Artists submit five JPEG images through the online entry form, with an optional paragraph, website and Instagram handle. The gallery takes no commission on sales. Wall-hung and pedestal work must weigh 30 pounds or less and arrive ready to hang.
Eligibility
U.S. resident artists aged 18 or older. Artists represented by First Street Gallery and exhibitors in SELECTS 2025 or SELECTS 2026 are not eligible. Original oils, acrylics, watercolors, gouache, pastels, drawings, prints, mixed media, photography and sculpture in any material.
Applications happen on First Street Gallery's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
