St. Johns County 2D Vinyl Artwork on Noblewins Benches RFQ
Designing Local (public art calls)
You should apply if you're a Florida-based visual, craft or design artist, 18 or older, with experience on large exterior murals.

About
The St. Johns Cultural Council, working with Designing Local, is commissioning original designs to be printed as large-scale vinyl wraps on the inside and outside of benches made by Noblewins in St. Johns County, Florida. Three artists and three alternates will be chosen. Each bench design carries a $5,000 budget covering the artist's fee and all related costs; a third-party contractor prints and installs the vinyl, so artists do not install. Artists submit qualifications as a single PDF by email: a one-page cover letter, a 1–3 page profile with relevant large-scale exterior mural experience and three references, and up to 10 images of past work. A committee of community members and council staff selects.
Eligibility
Visual, craft or design artists or artist teams (landscape architects and interior designers included), 18 or older, based in Florida and legal U.S. residents or citizens; artists in Northeastern Florida are encouraged. Committee members and their families are excluded.
Applications happen on Designing Local (public art calls)'s website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
