Villa Lofoten
You should apply if you're an artist, scientist or artisan anywhere in the world who can fund a stay in Lofoten.

About
Villa Lofoten hosts artists, scientists and artisans for stays of one to six weeks in its historic buildings in the rural village of Kvalnes in Lofoten, Norway. The spring 2027 period runs March 15 to May 1. Residents get a single room in a house with a shared kitchen and bathroom, breakfast, a shared dinner at the local restaurant and airport pick-up and drop-off. Applicants submit through the online application form and are assessed by a jury of a cinematographer, a composer and a theatre and film director. For each period the jury awards one full scholarship and two stays discounted by 25%. Residents take part in workshops or open artist talks with the local community.
Eligibility
Artists, scientists and artisans of any nationality; the site names writers, composers, photographers, dancers, designers, filmmakers, textile artists and researchers of Arctic culture and nature as a good fit.
