About

Turtle Bay Exploration Park's West Coast Biennial, now in its ninth edition, surveys contemporary art from four western states. Juror Karlo Henry, founder of The Art Hunger and arts director for Viva Downtown Redding, will choose 30 to 50 works and award prizes including $3,000 for top work, $1,750, $900 and $650 placements, an honorable mention and a people's choice award. Artists may enter up to three works. Results go out December 18, 2026, and the exhibition runs January 29 to April 18, 2027 at Turtle Bay Museum, opening with a reception and juror talk.

Eligibility

Artists currently living in California, Oregon, Washington or Alaska. Up to three works made within three years of the November 6, 2026 deadline, in painting, printmaking, drawing, photography, sculpture or mixed media.
