Winter Residency 2027: Winter Landscape
Pedvale Art Park
You should apply if you're an artist anywhere, especially from a warm country, wanting a month of winter work in Latvia.
About
Pedvale Art Park, a 100-hectare sculpture park two hours northwest of Riga, runs four-week winter residencies on the theme of winter landscape: January 3–30 or February 2–28, 2027, for up to nine artists at a time. Residents get private rooms in a 19th-century manor house, 24-hour access to private or shared studios, and space to work outdoors in the park. In each session's final week, residents show work made during the stay in the residency's exhibition hall. Applicants email a CV, a proposal letter, preferred dates and work samples.
Eligibility
Visual artists, writers, performers and other creative practitioners from anywhere, with artists from countries without a typical winter especially welcome. Artists fund their own travel and materials.
Applications happen on Pedvale Art Park's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
