2027 Rough Gems Curatorial Incubator
Union Hall Art Space
You should apply if you live in the Denver Metro area, are 18 or older, and want to curate a show.
About
Union Hall's Rough Gems is a curatorial training program that picks three Denver-area curators or curatorial teams each year to organize a six-week exhibition in its gallery. Each team gets mentorship from Union Hall's curators, a budget and access to the space, and plans public programming around the show. Each curator receives a $1,025 stipend and each participating artist $315. Applicants submit an exhibition proposal and rank their preferred slot: February 11 to March 20, June 24 to August 7, or August 19 to October 2, 2027. A jury judges proposals on concept, fit with Union Hall's mission, supplemental programming and feasibility.
Eligibility
People 18 and older who live in the Denver Metro area: artists, students, emerging curators, writers, historians and cultural producers. No prior curatorial experience is required, and teams may apply.
Applications happen on Union Hall Art Space's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
