31st Annual NO DEAD ARTISTS International Juried Exhibition
Ferrara Showman Gallery
You should apply if you make work in any medium — this call is open to artists anywhere, with a focus on emerging artists.
About
Ferrara Showman Gallery in New Orleans is taking submissions for the 31st NO DEAD ARTISTS, an international juried show founded by Jonathan Ferrara in 1995 to give emerging artists a first break. A new panel of three arts professionals and collectors selects the artists each year, and one jury-winning artist is offered a solo exhibition at the gallery. Artists apply through EntryThingy with a biography, statement, CV and up to ten images or videos. Finalists are announced July 24, and the exhibition opens in the gallery in September. All work must be for sale with a 50% gallery commission, and artists pay all shipping both ways.
Eligibility
Open to artists anywhere in the world, with a focus on emerging artists. All submitted work must be available for sale.
Applications happen on Ferrara Showman Gallery's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
