Residency · St. Wolfgang, Austria
ART CIRCLE Austria, Wolfgangsee 2027
ART CIRCLE International
You should apply if you're a professional visual or performance artist who wants a week of making by an Austrian lake.
About
ART CIRCLE, a residency festival founded in Slovenia in 2011, brings about 20 artists to St. Wolfgang on Lake Wolfgang for a one-week residency from April 11 to 19, 2027. Artists get a single room and meals in a lakeside hotel, a €500 stipend, up to €400 for materials and a group exhibition at the end of the week. Studios are informal spaces in and around the hotels with no special equipment, and they are open to the public each afternoon. Artists pay their own travel. Apply by emailing the form from the call PDF with a short biography, 5 to 10 images and a one-page proposal; results come by January 1, 2027.
Eligibility
Professional working artists in any field, with a focus on visual art; performance artists are especially welcome this year. Students cannot apply, except PhD researchers. Partners, family members and pets cannot come along.
Applications happen on ART CIRCLE International's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
