About
Assembly for the Arts' Boost Fund gives $1,500 in flexible funding to artists in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, working in any creative discipline. The money can offset the costs of creative projects, materials, equipment, events and other artist-specific needs. The fund awards 144 artists across three cycles, 48 per cycle, and awards are chosen by a nationally modeled random selection process rather than a jury, to widen access to public funding. Artists may submit one application per cycle until selected. Cycle 3 applications close November 19, 2026. Applicants must be able to show proof of their creative work and proof of residency.
Eligibility
Artists aged 18 or older in any discipline who live and work in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Board or staff of Assembly for the Arts or Cuyahoga Arts & Culture and panelists of Assembly's artist programs are not eligible.
