About
The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes administers New York's Statewide Community Regrants in Cattaraugus, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben and Tioga counties. Individual Artist grants of $500 to $5,000 support the creation of new work in any discipline, paired with a public activity so the community can experience it. The grant prioritizes paying artists for their time; supplies are eligible but no single material line may exceed $1,000, and total project costs must meet or exceed the request. Applications go through the Council's online system, and the Grants Manager reviews drafts on request.
Eligibility
Individual artists 18 or older living in Cattaraugus, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben or Tioga County, with proof of residency, and not enrolled full-time in a degree program. The work and its public program must happen in the applicant's home county. Anyone who applied directly to NYSCA for FY2027 is ineligible.
