Collecting Kinship: The Belonging We Build
River Arts, Inc.
You should apply if you're a Wisconsin artist making two- or three-dimensional work.
About
River Arts, Inc. invites Wisconsin artists to make work about the kinship built through community — the relationships, welcoming spaces, shared experiences and connections that create a sense of belonging. The call responds to a state health study ranking Wisconsin 31st in loneliness. Selected 2D and 3D work is shown at the Sauk Prairie River Arts Center gallery in Prairie du Sac from December 7, 2026 to February 12, 2027, with a reception on January 21. Artists apply online and pay the application fee by November 3; accepted artists then receive a link to pay a participation fee.
Eligibility
Wisconsin artists. Two- and three-dimensional work responding to the theme of kinship and belonging built through community.
Applications happen on River Arts, Inc.'s website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
