You should apply if you're a professional visual artist with an exhibition record, from Canada or abroad, wanting focused time in a national park.
About
The Rooms, Newfoundland and Labrador's provincial art gallery and museum, runs working residencies at Gros Morne and Terra Nova National Parks with Parks Canada, and with The Landfall Trust in Brigus. Each gives a professional visual artist three to six weeks of focused time on new or ongoing work. Applicants send a current CV and a 500 to 700 word statement describing the planned work and what the residency would bring to their practice. Two artists may apply jointly if they share the fee and space.
Eligibility
Professional Canadian and international visual artists with an established exhibition record.
