About

The Crocker-Kingsley Exhibition, first juried in 1940 and once a showcase for Wayne Thiebaud, Robert Arneson and Ruth Rippon, is now run by Blue Line Arts in Roseville. Juror Naz Cuguoğlu, curator of contemporary art at San Francisco's Asian Art Museum, selects work for all four Blue Line galleries and awards five cash prizes from $2,000 down to $250. Crocker Art Museum curators then pick about six works to show at the Crocker afterwards. All materials, including installation, are welcome. The show runs January 2 to February 13, 2027; results go out November 27, 2026. The application form is hosted on CaFE.

Eligibility

Open to artists 18 and older residing in the United States. Work must be original, completed in the last two years, not previously shown at Blue Line Arts, and for sale. All media welcome; pieces must fit through a 94 x 91 inch door.

Applications happen on Blue Line Arts's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
