About
PhotoPlace Gallery's juried exhibition on human life in its many forms: portraits, street and documentary photography, current affairs, family, labor, culture, identity, community, and the places and traces people leave behind. Juror Meredith Fleischer will select up to 35 photographs for the gallery in Middlebury, Vermont, December 4–26, 2026, plus about 40 more for the Online Gallery. All selected work is reproduced in the exhibition book, stays permanently on the gallery website, is promoted through PhotoPlace's publications and social channels, and is eligible for exhibition awards. Juror selections are announced October 19; prints for the gallery show are due November 20, and the opening reception is December 4.
Eligibility
Open to photographers from around the world working in any photographic approach, documentary or conceptual. No limit on the number of images submitted; selected exhibition-gallery artists must supply prints by the November 20 deadline (printing services are available through the gallery).
Applications happen on PhotoPlace Gallery's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
