About

Bainbridge Island Museum of Art selects artists for a continuous two-to-four-week residency at its Daisy Lane print and book studio, a short walk from the Bainbridge ferry dock. Residents get a private one-bedroom apartment within a five-minute walk, daily studio access from 8 AM to 10 PM, a weekly stipend and materials budget paid on arrival, and a $125 weekly account at the museum bistro. There is no travel stipend. A panel chooses residents on conceptual creativity, technical knowledge and familiarity with at least one studio offering. Applications are open October 1 to December 1, 2026, with results in February 2027.

Eligibility

Artists working in book arts, letterpress, silkscreen, Risograph or related print forms, with familiarity with at least one of the studio offerings; residents must be able to stay one continuous block of two to four weeks and cover their own travel.

Applications happen on Bainbridge Island Museum of Art's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
