About

The Nordic Analog Network, coordinated by CYAN Studio in Oslo and the Finnish Darkroom Association and supported by Nordic Culture Point, is offering six supported darkroom residencies for 2027 through its Darkroom Exchange program. Each darkroom invites one photographer: Mörk in Finland (8 weeks, February–March), Island Darkroom in Scotland (3 weeks, March), Fotoverkstedet in Norway (3 weeks, April–May), Luovake in Finland (3–5 weeks, August–November), CYAN Studio in Norway (3–5 weeks, spring or late summer) and Björkö Darkroom in Sweden (4 weeks, September). Residents work on their own projects. This cycle focuses on sustainable analog photography, so residents take or teach a workshop on it, with a teaching fee paid. One form covers all six, ranked by preference.

Eligibility

Residents of the Nordic countries working with any type of analog photography. Applicants rank their preferred darkrooms among the six on one form.

Applications happen on Nordic Analog Network's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
