Emerging Artist Fellowship Residency 2027
NE Sculpture
You should apply if you're an emerging artist at the start of your career, working in any medium, and comfortable in a shared studio.
About
NE Sculpture in Minneapolis takes up to three emerging artists per session into a shared studio and gallery space with woodworking and metalworking tools and a 2,000-square-foot outdoor work area with two gantries. Fellows get an apartment a mile from the studio, a $200 materials honorarium and $80 a week for food. Sessions run about 13 to 14 weeks in summer and fall. Fellows show the work they make in a three-to-four-day public pop-up exhibition at the gallery. Applications go through a Google Form linked from the program page.
Eligibility
Emerging artists early in their careers, working in any medium (two-dimensional, three-dimensional and installation work welcome); a studio arts background is strongly encouraged, and the program suits self-motivated artists comfortable in a shared studio.
Applications happen on NE Sculpture's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
