Gallery 4Culture Exhibition Proposals
4Culture
You should apply if you live in King County, WA, and aren't represented by a commercial gallery.
About
Gallery 4Culture, a 1,000-square-foot space on the street level of 4Culture's offices in Pioneer Square, takes solo, collaborative and group exhibition proposals from King County artists for its next season of six shows, each about six weeks long. Selected artists get curatorial direction, communications and PR support, and a $2,000 honorarium, and handle delivery, installation and de-installation themselves. Installation and site-responsive work is prioritized, and emerging artists and those underrepresented in commercial venues are encouraged. Work may be sold with no commission taken. 4Culture notes its guidelines carry over from last cycle until the application opens.
Eligibility
Visual artists, teams and groups in any medium except performance art; every member must live in King County, WA. Applicants cannot be represented by a commercial gallery, and artists who had a solo or two-person show there in the last three seasons are ineligible.
Applications happen on 4Culture's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
