KHN Residencies, 2027 Session 2
Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts
You should apply if you're a visual or interdisciplinary artist anywhere wanting two to eight weeks of studio time.
About
The Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts in Nebraska City awards up to 78 juried residencies a year to visual and interdisciplinary artists, writers and composers. Residencies run two to eight weeks and are self-directed; each resident gets housing, a private studio and a $175 weekly food stipend. This cycle covers 2027 Session 2, July 12 to December 17, 2027, with applications opening November 1, 2026. The jury is blind: applicants submit anonymous work samples, a statement on the submitted work and a statement of intent, and indicate preferred dates within the session.
Eligibility
Visual and interdisciplinary artists, writers and composers from the U.S. and abroad. Alumni may reapply one year (Nebraska artists) or two years (others) after their earlier application, up to two residencies in a lifetime.
Applications happen on Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
