About
Malamegi Lab, the creative workshop of the Italian design company Malamegi, selects 12 finalists for a group exhibition at the Imagoars space in Campo del Ghetto Vecchio, Venice, with a catalogue. Among the finalists, one artist receives a €1,000 cash prize, one work is bought for up to €2,000, one artist develops a collection with Malamegi, and one gets a monograph printed in about 100 copies. The theme is free, and painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, digital, video, graphics and net art are all accepted. Selection is made by Malamegi Lab staff with the company's artistic and commercial department.
Eligibility
Open to professional and amateur artists anywhere. Any visual work up to 3 x 3 meters that can be shown in a single image; free theme.
