About

Drexel University's Leonard Pearlstein Gallery in Philadelphia is taking exhibition proposals for Spring 2027. Curators of group shows get preference; artist groups can propose installations or themed group exhibitions with one lead organizer, and individual artists can propose an installation for the back gallery or be considered for a group show organized by the gallery. Selected exhibitions receive installation support, signage, up to $500 for printing and shipping, an opening reception and possibly an honorarium for a public program. A committee of faculty, students and community members reviews concepts on their link to Drexel's media arts and design college, fit with the 3,500-square-foot space and originality; shortlisted applicants may be asked for an expanded proposal.

Eligibility

Open to Drexel students, faculty and community members, and to artists and curators from the Mid-Atlantic and Tri-State area. Group exhibitions need one lead organizer. Drexel students cannot be paid.

Applications happen on Pearlstein Gallery (Drexel University)'s website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
