About
Johnson City Public Art in Tennessee seeks leasable outdoor sculpture for the 7th rotation of its Phil Pindzola Biennial Sculpture Exhibition, installed from May 2027 to May 2029 in Founders Park and several other sites around town. Selected artists receive a $3,000 stipend for the 24-month lease of the piece once it is installed, plus one night of hotel accommodation for installation. Artists may submit up to five pieces, labeled as described in the request for proposals document, through the online form. Proposals are due by 4:00 p.m. Eastern on December 4, 2026.
Eligibility
Open to professional artists aged 18 or older who live in the United States, preferably with experience placing outdoor sculpture. Up to five pieces may be submitted.
