This Memory: Textiles Competition
Responsa Foundation
You should apply if you're a textile artist anywhere in the world with a piece about memory that you'd like shown in London.
About
The Responsa Foundation seeks textile artists for This Memory, a group exhibition at the Peggy Jay Gallery in Burgh House, Hampstead, London, from September 22 to October 3, 2027. Each applicant submits one textile artwork responding to the theme of memory, plus a written response of up to 50 words that will hang beside it. Weaving, embroidery, soft sculpture, quilting, tapestry, fibre art and mixed media are all welcome, and work may be new or existing. Submissions are digital files of at least 300 dpi, up to A2 size, entered through an online form. A panel from the Responsa team judges the entries, and selected works are professionally printed, framed and exhibited. Results come around June or July 2027.
Eligibility
Textile artists working in any form, from traditional craft to experimental mixed media. Artists outside the UK are welcome. AI-generated artwork is not accepted.
Applications happen on Responsa Foundation's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
