Eastside Projects
You should apply if you're a UK-based artist with three or more years of practice and not enrolled on an academic course.
About
Eastside Projects and the University of Birmingham offer six-month research and development residencies that pair artists with academics on the theme of touch, including haptics, embodied knowledge, disability and access, digital touch, materiality and craft. Each resident receives a £3,500 artist fee and a £500 production budget for travel or materials. Applicants complete an online form with an expression of interest and portfolio, naming the listed academics they want to work with. Applications close Friday, November 20 at 11:59pm.
Eligibility
UK-based artists working in any medium with the right to work in the UK, at least 3 years of professional experience and a demonstrable portfolio. Artists enrolled on an academic course, including a PhD, are not eligible. Not open to artists based internationally.
Applications happen on Eastside Projects's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
