About
The City of Raleigh is seeking two artists or artist teams to paint public art on existing infrastructure along the Capital Area Greenway. Each selected artist or team is assigned up to five sewer risers in a designated area and receives $5,000 total, which covers design, installation, taxes, travel and fees. The paint must hold up outdoors. Applicants send a statement of interest of 500 words or a two-minute audio or video, three professional references and five images of work from the last ten years. Applications go through SlideRoom and are due November 20, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Work is expected from April to summer 2027.
Eligibility
Open to individuals and teams who live or work in North Carolina, are at least 18, legally authorized to work in the United States, and have at least three years of professional practice and design experience.
