About
The Royal Society of British Artists, founded in 1823, is taking submissions for its 2027 Annual Exhibition at Mall Galleries in London, shown in the gallery and online alongside its members. The society favours skill, draughtsmanship and traditional technique across painting, sculpture, drawing and original printmaking. Artists enter up to six works through the online submission system, and a committee of RBA members selects up to four per artist. Exhibitors can sell work and are eligible for prizes worth over £15,000, including the £10,000 Huaicun Zhang Award for Excellence and a £2,000 de Laszlo Foundation Award for an artist 35 or under working from life.
Eligibility
Any artist aged 18 or over, from anywhere in the world. Original painting, sculpture, drawing or original prints (no photography), not previously exhibited in London, no larger than 2.4m on the longest side.
