About
Decagon Gallery's SELF call asks for photographic self-portraits that go beyond likeness: images that use the self to ask something larger, in documentary, constructed, conceptual or experimental styles, as single images or series. Douglas Beasley is the juror. Selected work appears in an online exhibition from December 6, 2026 to February 6, 2027 and in a printed catalog. Cash awards total $1,000: $500, $250 and $150 for the top three, plus two $50 honorable mentions. Photographers submit JPGs 2,100 pixels on the long side, and keep copyright.
Eligibility
Open to photographers worldwide aged 18 and over. Self-portraits in any photographic style; images without text, watermarks or borders.
Applications happen on Decagon Gallery's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
