Signature Public Art Commission for the Aplin Center
Texas A&M University Art Galleries (UART)
You should apply if you're a professional artist or team with experience in large-scale public art commissions.

About
Texas A&M University is seeking qualifications for a signature public artwork at its new Aplin Center. All media will be considered, including monumental sculpture, environmental work, architectural intervention, light-based installation and interdisciplinary approaches, with work suited to the Central Texas climate. Phase One is a request for qualifications: applicants email a single PDF with a letter of interest, CV, 10 to 15 completed works, documentation of three to five public art projects with budgets and client contacts, and three references. Finalists advance to Phase Two, receive a design stipend, and develop a site-specific design, drawings, budget and timeline, then oversee fabrication and installation.
Eligibility
Professional artists and artist-led teams with demonstrated experience in large-scale public art commissions, including complex projects, fabrication expertise and work with institutional clients.
Applications happen on Texas A&M University Art Galleries (UART)'s website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
