About
Smartwear Revolution offers two Spring 2027 residencies with its research team, one in person in Edmonton and one online, to develop work for the 2028 SUPPORT festival. The in-person residency carries $12,000 CAD total, including artist fee, materials, travel, accommodation and production. The virtual residency carries $8,000 CAD including materials and production. Applicants send an expression of interest with an artist statement, biography, 8 to 10 work samples and a project proposal. Work must be ready by January 2028. The deadline is December 15, 2026.
Eligibility
Individual artists and small collectives worldwide with experience in visual arts, fashion-based work or performance. No age, nationality or geography restrictions.
