Spring 2027 Micro-Residency
Bischoff Inn
You should apply if you make small-scale drawing, collage, textile, photo or computer-based work — painters, sculptors and wet media aren't eligible this session.

About
The Bischoff Inn in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania hosts a one-week Micro-Residency in March 2027, in two sessions (March 12–19 and March 20–27), for up to six artists a week. Each resident gets a private guest room and bathroom that doubles as the workspace, with Wi-Fi, linens and a shared lounge with coffee, snacks and a kitchenette; a folding work table is available on request. There is no separate studio this session, so it suits quiet, compact projects. Residents join three program events: a studio visit with founder Maria Stabio, a gathering at her home and a public artist talk. Applicants hear back within two to three weeks of the deadline.
Eligibility
Artists making small-scale 2D work (drawing, collage), textile, fiber and fashion artists, writers, composers, photographers, graphic designers and scholars whose work is done mostly on a computer. Painters, sculptors and anyone using wet media (watercolor, acrylic, oil, gouache, dyes) are not eligible for this session. Individuals; the Jr Suite takes an established two-artist team.
Applications happen on Bischoff Inn's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
