Unraveled: Fiber and Textile Open Call
Woman Made Gallery
You should apply if you're a woman or nonbinary artist working in fiber or textiles, based anywhere.

About
Woman Made Gallery in Chicago is taking submissions for Unraveled, a juried exhibition of contemporary fiber and textile work by women and nonbinary artists, on view January 16 to February 13, 2027. Quilting, weaving, soft sculpture and expanded fiber practices are all in scope, with work that preserves or reinvents textile traditions. Each artist enters one submission of one to three works through the gallery's online entry form; juror Rebekah Baker makes the selections and artists are notified November 29. The gallery offers about 30 fee waivers per juried show, half reserved for ALAANA/BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ artists.
Eligibility
Women and nonbinary artists from anywhere, including trans women and genderqueer artists. Work must be by the submitting artist(s); collaborations qualify if every member meets the criteria. Works over 6 feet wide or 75 pounds need artist delivery, and work previously shown at WMG is ineligible.
Applications happen on Woman Made Gallery's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
